Air Travel

The local airport for Nottingham is East Midlands Airport, however the flights may not always be the cheapest/most convenient, so therefore do look at other airports. Birmingham is very convenient, as are Manchester and London Luton. Do check skyscanner for flights to the UK.

From East Midlands Airport you can take the Skylink bus service directly to just outside the campus. Buses leave from outside the Airport Arrivals hall. You can also walk to the taxi rank on the terminal forecourt and take a direct taxi to the University. The cost of a single/one way journey is approximately £20.

Rail Travel

Both Nottingham and Beeston rail stations are a short bus or taxi ride from the campus. It is possible to buy cheap advanced tickets from National Rail. There are taxi ranks throughout the city and immediately adjacent to the main railway and bus stations. The journey to the campus takes approximately 15 minutes.

There are a number of bus services running from both stations to University Park Campus. A single fare costs £1.70,  but it is advisable to have exact change as many buses do not give change. From Nottingham train station the bus stops closest to the train station are just outside Broadmarsh bus station (for Nottingham City Transport’s 34 service or Trent Barton’s Indigo services).

From Beeston train station the bus stops closest to the train station are from Beeston Centre adj Queens road, a short 5 min walk (for Trent Barton’s Indigo services), or Beeston Rylands adj Laburnum Grove (for Trent Barton 18 services). It is also possible to walk from Beeston station- it takes about 25 minutes.
